Are you a Jacobs University student who is thinking about studying abroad? If your GPA is better than or equal to 2.0 on the Jacobs scale and your language proficiency of the chosen university is B2, you are welcome to spend your fifth semester at one of our partner institutions. Follow these 5 steps to arrange your study abroad semester:
– Should I do study abroad or internship? Get in contact with your academic advisor and program coordinator to discuss how a study abroad semester will benefit your academic and personal development.
– Which partner university would suit my needs? Check Jacobs University’s exchange and Erasmus partners, their websites and course catalogues. You can apply for more than one study abroad destination.
– I have preselected my host universities, what is next? Apply for your study abroad semester via CampusNet (under application overview / outgoing study abroad) and make sure you have your credit transfer approved by Academic Advisor, Program Coordinator and the Registrar.
– When will I know whether I am selected? After application deadline closes on December 1st the International Office will inform you about the decision within maximum of 4 weeks.
– My application was approved! Congratulations, this means Jacobs International Office will send your nomination to the respective partner and you can initiate your application process with them.
